Applicants who apply for admission to graduate programs must have completed a BA or BSc degree or comparable three-year university studies with a first-class grade (higher than 7.25 on the Icelandic grading scale) from an internationally recognized university.

A Bachelor's Degree in this context is defined as a qualification obtained at a higher education institution, where the holder has completed 180 – 240 ECTS credits of an organized study program.
