Katrín Hólm Hauksdóttir is a new member of the University Centre faculty, she teaches the course Geographical Information Systems this year.
This week a new three week module in the Coastal and Marine Management program began with two elective courses: Coastal and Marine Conservation and Geographical Information Systems.

The Conservation course is taught by Bradley W. Barr, a Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of the Director of the US National Marine Sanctuary Program and a PhD candidate at the University of Alaska. This is the third academic year that Bradley Barr teaches this course. In addition to teaching at the University Centre he has been an external reader for a master's thesis, presented earlier this year. The course Geographical Information Systems is taught by Katrín Hólm Hauksdóttir, a project manager at Registers Iceland. We want to welcome Katrín especially since this is her first time teaching at the University Centre.
