Recently the CMM masters program at the University Centre of the Westfjords was featured on the website of the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB). Earlier this year professor Morten Edvardsen, from UMB, taught "Planning of Coastal and Marine Regions" in the CMM masters program at the University Centre. Professor Edvardsen will teach this course again early next year. In the feature, professor Edvardsen mentions that he sees his work at the University Centre as a starting point for further cooperation between Norwegian and Icelandic professionals and students in teaching and research in the field of coastal and marine planning.

Professor Edvardsen´s course, "Planning of Coastal and Marine Regions" begins on February 15 and ends on March 5. The course, like all other courses in the CMM program, is open to external participants, especially people working in the field. Admissions requirements must be met for all participating students.
