Earlier today a report on the impact and proceedings of the coastal fisheries trial program of the summer 2009 was introduced at a press conference in the Ministry of Fisheries and Agriculture. The report was done for the ministry by the University Centre of the Westfjords.

Sigríður Ólafsdóttir, the program director of the Coastal and Marine Management masters program, supervised the work, collected data, and edited the report, with assistance from Gísli Halldór Halldórsson, a CMM master's student.
