A New Director of Education and Teaching

The University Centre of the Westfjords welcomes a new Director of Education and Teaching, Kristín Ósk Jónasdóttir. Kristín Ósk is replacing Martha Lilja M. Olsen who has worked as a Director of Education and Teaching from the very beginning of the University Centre's operations in January 2006.

Kristín Ósk will graduate with a MPA-degree from the University of Iceland in October. Previously she has completed a Diploma-degree in School and Career Counseling from the University of Iceland in addition to a B. Ed-degree in teaching and postgraduate education in math teaching. Kristín has an extensive work experience from the educational system, as a teacher, principal and most recently as the head of Ísafjörður Municipality Elementary Offices.
