In cooperation with the University of Akureyri and the network of Icelandic Universities, the University Centre is able to offer a variety of courses that are content-related to the innovative idea and will therefore help the student in developing and accomplishing the innovative project.

The following courses are available in the network of Icelandic Universities through distance learning or as modules. Courses lasting a whole term are not included, nor the courses available at the University Centre of the Westfjords. The student, under the guidance of the advisor(s) and the UW-director of teaching and administration, form the study plan, based on the respective innovation project and taking into consideration former studies and experience. Thus, this list can never be complete, especially as for the content-related courses. Student and advisors are therefore encouraged to monitor the availability of additional courses, such courses need to be approved by the master's study committee. Note that in some cases students may need to pay a tuition fee and other cost in such cases.
