Ólafur Guðsteinn Kristjánsson

Ólafur Guðsteinn Kristjánsson received his BA from the University of Iceland in Comparative Literature in 2004. In 2005 he moved to Berlin, Germany, were he has been living for almost five years now, to study Philosophy and German Literature at the Technische University and Humboldt University. Since 2007 he has taught Icelandic at various schools in Germany; though mainly Berlin. In 2008 he started teaching Icelandic at the Volkshochschule Reinickendorf. Mr. Kristjansson has also worked as a translator and a freelance journalist for Morgunblaðið and other Icelandic newspapers and magazines, were he mainly wrote about tourist attractions and German and Icelandic literature.
